The plug-in system SDF with fir-tree is used in combination with standardized and pre-assembled line sets. The two resting steps of the plug-in system with integrated catch mechanism and the option of plug-in under pressure provides a high degree of plug-in reliability. These safety features were developed specifically for the sensitive application of pneumatic air brakes for trucks.

• Low pre-assembly effort
  SDF consists of 2 connection components (plug and retaining screw), while comparable systems on the market require up to 4 connecting components for the same application
• Functional elements arranged captively
  All functional elements are arranged at the plug and the retaining screw. The stepped bore does not contain any single components.
• Integrated catch mechanism
  The design with two resting steps offers an increased plug-in reliability. The integrated catch ring mechanism prevents a release of the connection already after the first resting step is reached.
• Plug-in under pressure possible at any time
  If the plug-in system remains in the first resting step, a defined leakage indicates that the end position is not reached. Plug-in in the end position under pressure is possible at any time.
